We will hold a two-person exhibition of "Lacquer artist" Reiko Hashizume and "Blacksmith" Nobuyuki Takeda, who were born and raised in the same Kuroe.The first exhibition will be held at "House of Blacksmith", which is a private residence and gallery in Funoo, Kainan City.Please take a look.

Lacquer artist
Started making lacquer crafts in 1997. Her makes tea utensils and accessories such as NATSUME and KOUGOU, as well as small items such as hand mirrors and hand fans. Her uses this lacquer to create delicate and beautiful works using traditional techniques. Her is active mainly in exhibitions such as solo exhibitions and group exhibitions.
This time, her will line up tea utensils such as NATSUME, KOUGOU and CHASHAKU, brooches, pendants, earrings and piercings, lacquer accessories such as rings, fans and hand mirrors.
We hope that you can feel the beauty of lacquer in the natural light and shadows that you see at the blacksmith.

After graduating from the Department of Metal Crafts, Osaka University of Arts, after working for a machine production maker, studied under craftsman Mitsuo Nishida. Opened a workshop / shop in Kainan City, Wakayama Prefecture from 2013.
This time, we will line up the cutlery, plates, new vases, boxes, and plant frame series, and we will also be able to offer consultation on ordering interiors such as exteriors such as gates and furniture.
