We designed and produced a signboard for a Shikkiten founded in 1877, in the Shikki town "KUROE" that has been in operation for over 400 years.

The motif is Obon, which is also the symbol of the town of KUROE, and the iris, which is also the symbol of Ikesho Shikkiten. The typeface was expressed in iron based on what the first generation wrote directly. The point of 器 is that it is a shop that handles carefully scrutinized vessels, and I feel the spirit of the first generation. We made it with the hope that it will continue to be here as a store that will continue to lead KUROE.
