Concept
I returned to the Town of KUROE, where I was borned, and opened a Blasksmith Studio.
In the sixth year, we had our own family home near the Studio.
The changing seasons, the air, the light and the sound that are there change the appearance, New days come every day. The dazzling touched my heart.
We who live there and the birds who come in the morning and evening.
Everything affects each other in various ways.
Only when "mixed".
Seeing, touching, empowering all of them, I keep striking iron every day.

Nobuyuki Takeda
Blacksmith
Born in Kainan City, Wakayama Prefecture in 1977.
Joined Fujita Kogyo Co., Ltd. after graduating from the Department of Metal Crafts, Osaka University of Arts. Learned sheet metal and welding techniques, and at the same time participated in many craft events as HOUSE HOLD INDUSTRY. In 2009, he studied under Mitsuo Nishida, a craftsman at PAGE ONE, Saitama Prefecture Wrought Iron Studio. Opened STUDIO / SHOP in Kainan City, Wakayama Prefecture as HOUSE HOLD INDUSTRY in 2013.

Makiko Takeda
Management / PR
Born in Wakayama City, Wakayama Prefecture in 1978.
After graduating from Osaka Bunka Fashion College, joined a cosmetics company.
Since 2006, he has supported Nobuyuki Takeda's activities and walked together.
In charge of public relations, accounting, and management at HOUSEHOLD INDUSTRY.
Diary of Blacksmith
Studio
HOUSEHOLD INDUSTRY is located along a national highway with heavy traffic. The building, which was originally a blacksmith, was renovated, and the first floor became a Studio and the second floor became a Shop.
Steel and tools are placed in the Studio. It's not a big Studio, but it's just the right size for us. Large works such as gates and objects, and small spoons are also made from this place.

Shop
The shop is located up the stairs at the back of the Studio. Furniture such as tables and fixtures, original lighting, objects, cutlery such as spoons. We also accept custom-made production.
It can also be used as a meeting space where you can see past cases. Some products can be viewed at the Online Store for those who are far away.

2002
Participated in many craft events as HOUSE HOLD INDUSTRY.
2013
Opened STUDIO / SHOP in Kainan City, Wakayama Prefecture as HOUSE HOLD INDUSTRY.
2018
Construction of "House of Blacksmith", which renovates an old private house, begins near the Studio.
2019
July Held a solo exhibition of "HOUSE HOLD INDUSTRY exhibition" at norm in Wakayama city.
October Co-sponsored "Black Black Black" with photographer Masakazu Kuroiwa at the former Tajima Urushi Factory.
2020
"House of Blacksmith" landscaping started.
2021
"House of Blacksmith" released as a gallery. Opened HOUSEHOLD INDUTRY Online Store.
